Real Estate Agents should not 'sell' you a house, but guide you through the process of finding and making the purchase. This is more than mere semantics, but the difference between someone who is working on your side to guide you through the process, and someone who is trying to guide you into buying.

The same is true for selling your home: the best selling Realtors are marketers first, and their goal is to properly market your property with solid techniques that utilize modern--and some traditional--tools.
